Ramit Mitra
(Co-founder and Director)

From boardrooms to bylanes — uncovering India’s rich legacy one story at a time.”

After completing his MBA from MS University, Baroda, Ramit Mitra built a successful career spanning over a decade across the telecom, advertising, publishing, and event management industries.

Driven by a lifelong passion for people, their stories, history, and culture, Ramit found in Delhi — and across India — a rich canvas to explore all three. An avid amateur photographer, his enthusiasm for documenting built and natural heritage, along with cultural traditions, sparked a deeper spirit of inquiry.

This passion led him to found DelhiByFoot, with the mission of making India’s history, geography, and cultural heritage accessible and engaging for children and young adults.
