At ScholarSafari, we are not solely guided by curricular engagement—we are inspired by joyful, playful processes that teach children (and those associated with them) about life and self more than anything else. We see co-curricular engagements as essential to a child’s holistic development. For learning, does not unfold into compartmentalized subjects of knowledge but a multi-disciplinary course of action and thinking.
We not only encourage children, but also their nurturers and providers to be truly aware of and included in the process of education. A process that includes rational thinking, experimentation, and freedom of choice that brings critical responsiveness and social consciousness. We aim to nurture individuality, ignite imagination, and cultivate a sense of belonging that goes beyond the four walls.
Our methods bring this philosophy to life through a range of deeply engaging methodologies. We use theatre as reflective practice, encouraging one to explore identity, emotion, and perspective. Body movement becomes a means of developing physical presence, awareness, and confidence. Crafts like puppetry, painting, and pottery allow for tactile creativity, offering one the chance to shape their inner world into visible form.
We facilitate explorations of village ecosystems, where children learn about sustainability, shared economies, and the values of interdependence and inclusivity embedded in community life. Our introduction to the textile arts—including block printing and handcraft traditions—connects learners to heritage skills that are both delicate and deeply narrative. Through long-term storytelling sessions, we dive into diverse tales and the craft of storytelling itself, cultivating imagination, listening, rhythm, and narrative intelligence.
